The end of summer has brought lower humidity, cooler weather, and now GOLFERS back to our Santee golf courses. We are seeing lots of old friends who come back to visit every fall, and new groups like the family from France who just left us. Summer was filled with Santee family reunions and travelers coming off I-95 to join us for a meal and stay the night. We got several new visitors who saw our menu online and decided to stop. Check out this latest addition to our Restaurant page. Take a look and get hungry!  One group that was drawn in by our online presence was the team from National Geographic's Expedition Blue Planet. Their team of eight, lead by Alexandra Cousteau, granddaughter of Jacques Cousteau, pulled up in their gorgeous, huge bus and ate lunch with us a couple of Saturdays ago. They were on their way to Florida to film another installment of their documentary series focusing on our hemisphere's water problems. Our quick-thinking hostess, Loretta, took a photo of their bus's logo with her phone. You can see her efforts at the right.  We were all pretty excited to have them here. We hope to see you here soon too!
