One of our hostesses will take your order over the phone (including your credit card information), fill out our pretty gift certificate, and then mail it to your giftee with your message included. Lots of folks stop here on the way through Santee when they are headed north or south on Interstate 95. If your loved ones or friends are among those wonderful people, they'll appreciate your kindness. The certificate is good for one year and can be used multiple times until the purchase price is gone. The weather is gorgeous, and Lake Marion gleams a pure cobalt blue. The sky is pure crystalline, and thousands of wild ducks are stopping over at the lake on their winter migration route. This year, we give thanks for the many wonderful people who have visited our Restaurant and Inn, especially during this difficult economic environment. Many are returning guests, but we're seeing a lot of new folks, too, like the couple from Quebec who ate lunch with us today, and the young man who begged to take an entire pan of our "Famous Fried Chicken" home yesterday. He said it was the best he had ever eaten. Our holiday parties are just  beginning, and the kitchen is overflowing with wonderful aromas. (It is a wonder we don't all weigh 500 lbs apiece around here!) Thanksgiving Day brings our traditional feast with all the trimmings, and we've invited the gentlemen shown here to be our very special guest. Our Lunch Specials will be Turkey with all the trimmings, Baked Ham with raisin sauce, and Grilled Salmon with Mango Chutney.
